Our Farm

"Our dream is ..."
-The Belew Family

Messenger Century Farm was built in the mid 1800s in Auburn Township, Ohio by the Messenger Family.  Long time friends of the Messengers, our family took over the farm in 1992. In 2007, our farm was conserved through the Western Reserve Land ConservancyNow, everyone will be able to enjoy the farm forever.

Maple syrup is one of our specialties. Our original sugar house, although now vacant is reportedly the oldest sugar house in Geauga County. We converted a 1910 farm building into our new sugar house with latest new "green" equipment.  You can see our maple syrup operation during the month of March.

In 2012, we planted over 4 acres of blueberries so we could share the farm more often with others. In July, come out to pick-your-own blueberries or order pre-picked blueberries. Sunflower bouquets are available during blueberry season as well.

Our country porch is open year-round where we offer many sizes of maple syrup, homemade jam, natural soaps, frozen blueberries, and eggs. Custom gift packs are available as well.

Looking for a unique place during the summer to have a family get together, company outing, or a date night? Need family or Senior photos? Give us a call. We'd love to have you enjoy the farm.
